Dear Parents,
Today we swam and hiked by the most beautiful waterfall in the Golan, the Jilabun. We then headed out to the De Karina Chocolate Factory where we all had the opportunity to watch the making of chocolate in person and design our own chocolate.
It was delicious!
After stopping at a supermarket for some Shabbat goodies and returning to the hotel, the staff put together a Shabbat shuk (market) where all the TJJers have a chance to learn and experience different aspects of Shabbat like making spices for havdala, pita bread making, shabbat candle making, challah covering designing and of course chulent cooking.
We are excited about the amazing shabbat we are about to have.
