Dear NJ TJJ Family,

We are now a week and a half into TJJ and things are going great! 

We enjoyed tremendous water hikes this week including the Zavitan and Jilabun streams and the Snir River. 

Continuing our time in the water we built rafts, swam and took a boat ride on the Kineret.

We also spent a lot of time this week learning about different periods of Israeli history from the British Mandate at the Old Acco Prison to the Yom Kippur War and the current situation in Syria at Tel Saki. 

We also looked back into ancient Jewish history in both Katzrin and Kfar Kedem! 

Today we explored Jewish art and mysticism in the holy city of Tzfat.
