Hello NCSY TJJ Bus 3 Family,

We’ve been having a great time up here in the north of Israel. We’ve been getting to know the land, its people and its culture.

Yesterday, our group hiked down the Jilabun, to an amazing waterfall, where we swam in a natural spring. 

 After that very full workout, we went to taste some of the best chocolate that Israel has to offer at the De Karina chocolate factory. There is nothing like a milkshake after hiking!  Later we learned about some of Israel’s miraculous military victories atop the

Today, we continued our journey by scaling down the ancient Arbel mountain and learned more about Israel past, present, and future.

 We ended today with a visit to Kfar Kedem, where we learned about ancient Israel, and how the Jewish people lived in Mishnaic times. After making our own pita bread, we went donkey riding to try to feel what it was like to travel. All and all, an enlightening and fun experience for our group.
