Dear NCSY TJJ Bus 3 Family,

The band is back together!!!

After an amazing free weekend everyone in the NCSY TJJ Bus 3 family is so excited to be back together! While some of us had amazing experiences traveling to far off reaches of Israel and spending time with family and friends we are all nonetheless thrilled to be a complete family once again!!

Today, Sunday, we made the loooong drive from Jerusalem down to Eilat. On the way we made several stops, including Sde Boker and Ein Ovdat.  At Sde Boker we visited the founder of the State of Israel’s, David ben Gurion, desert home where we learned about Ben Gurion and why he chose such a curious place to live out his life after being prime minister and even be laid to rest.  Congrats to Arielle Goldberg for beating Paul Creeger one of the advisors at acting out one of Ben Gurion’s famous yoga poses. Following lunch in Sde Boker we had a small hike through Ein Ovdat a beautiful canyon made by years of water flowing throughit

After enjoying our stops in Sde Boker and Ein Ovdat we continued on our way to Eilat. We made a short stop on the way at Yatvata the famous dairy farm and Ice Cream makers. Once we checked into our hotel we took to the boardwalk for some of the best burgers in Israel, Burgers Bar!!!! Everyone was ready to rest up at the hotel after a long day of traveling and excitement! Not to mention to have some strength to go banana boating and tubing tomorrow!
