Dear NCSY TJJ Bus 3 Family,
Today we had the amazing opportunity to visit the famous Blind Museum, Dialogue in the Dark. Teens got to see what it would be like to not have sight and boy did they appreciate when we left as the light became clear. They had a chance to visit the park, market and a cafeteria where they ordered and were served in the dark ( it was hard counting out the shekels to pay). After that we sorta hoped we couldn’t smell for a bit as we visited the Shafdan, Israel’s sewage refinery where they process everything into water to help the agriculture in the Israeli desert. To end the day we visited Bar Ilan University where we got the chance to hear a real college lecture about Israel Advocacy.
Looking forward to tomorrow and our first visit to the Western Wall.
Best,
Rabbi Yitz
